Sold Out - $ 1,800.00
This wooden propeller is from a Jacobs Radial 1940's Cessna Bobcat AT-17 Twin engine WWII trainer. This is a rare wooden propeller made by Stone propeller company Wichita Kansas. The very early Jacobs powered Cessna Bobcats had the wooden propellers. The Bobcat had a nickname of Bamboo Bomber because it was made of mostly all wood. The Bamboo bomber was used as primary twin engine training , instrument and radio training and some bombing practice. I have had this propeller in my collection for 30 years and have not seen another Superior example like it. The wood is perfect , canvas tips , brass scallop leading edge and perfect original decals. The propeller is 90 inches long 7 and 1/2 feet.
